The 2020/2021 Yorkshire Amateur League Division Two season kicks off on Saturday 5th September, with the First Team welcoming local rivals Littletown Reserves to Wakefield Road; 2pm kick-off.

Off the back of this summer’s pre-season fixtures, Saturday’s game will be the First Team's first competitive match under the new management of Rob Smith and Christian Thewlis.

The opponents Littletown will be hoping to bring last seasons form (12 wins from 14 games) into the new campaign. They looked guaranteed to be lifting the title until the season was cut short due to COVID-19, this will only give them more motivation for the upcoming season. They managed to score 48 goals in just 14 games (Avg 3.4 per game) so pose a big threat in front of goal.
