About Dewsbury Rangers

Dewsbury Rangers was formed in 1993 and we have worked hard to play a part in the local community ever since. We were awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club status in 2013 and were also winners of the WRCFA Charter Standard Club of the Year in 2011.

The club is run by a committee including managers, fundraisers and supporters who work hard behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of our grass roots football club. We also have a dedicated welfare officer to ensure the safeguarding of all the junior players who play for Dewsbury Rangers.

All of our coaches are given the opportunity to become FA qualified and we have an ongoing partnership with a professional coaching company, Pro Soccer, to help us develop every player from as early as 5 years old.

Clubhouse and Facilities

We're very lucky to be one of the few clubs in the area to have a state of the art, modern clubhouse and it's something we're very proud of.

The clubhouse has 6 changing rooms with showers and whiteboards, a separate changing room for match officials, disabled access and toilets, a cafe that serves hot and cold food, as well as an indoor and outdoor seating area. The clubhouse was only achieved through the hard work of club members and a grant from the Football Foundation and the local council. You can see some of the images of the clubhouse in Our Gallery.

We also have access to the fabulous 3G facility at St John Fishers and every one of our teams has the opportunity to train there over the cold winter months, which means we can train all year round.

If you have any questions regarding the clubhouse and other facilities send us a message via our Contact Form.

We also take the welfare of our players very seriously and have a dedicated Child Welfare Officer. Find out more about our Child Welfare's roles and responsibilities.

Fundraising and Fees

Dewsbury Rangers are very active in fundraising which helps with the upkeep and running of the club, clubhouse and facilities. To organise this we have a fundraising committee who work hard to arrange and coordinate our annual gala, penalty shoot-outs and bag packs amongst other exciting events.

As well as our own fundraising we also run events for a chosen charity each year. This year we're raising money for the Macmillan charity - have a look at our latest event for Macmillan.
